Right from the start of our company in 1996, VORtech Computing has been a specialist in the field of High Performance Computing. Over the years, we have seen HPC change from something exotic into a technology that is used by many people in their daily work.
Through the use of parallel computing, a heavy computation can be distributed over several processors, leading to a much shorter turn-around time. VORtech Computing knows how to make software suitable for parallel computers. Apart from that, we give advise about the computational infrastructure for heavy-duty computing (e.g. Grid computing facilities, Linux clusters). We also offer support for the use of High Performance Computing facilities.
